MOONSHELL: Fragments of the Heart - Adventure Guide

Moonshell: Fragments of the Heart, known outside of Europe and USA as Mirror Flower, Water Moon, is a 1998 action role-playing video game developed and published by Cabbagehead Games for the Morpheus PlayDeck.

The game takes place on the mysterious Ghost Island, which was once prosperous and bountiful until the Broken Moon cursed it for eternity.

The player takes the role of the Nameless Knight, who has taken on the quest to retrieve the Lunar Fragments and undo the curse. The Nameless Knight wakes up on the coast of Ghost Island after the ship they chartered is sunk by a Leviathan. To find the Lunar Fragments, the player must adventure onward into the island.

Set mainly in a dark fantasy world, the main gameplay of Moonshell is described as explore, connect and challenge. The player may complete the game non-violently by relying on stealth, wit and problem-solving. Or overcome Ghost Island by mastering combat and magic.

Moonshell: Fragments of the Heart is a speculative fiction RPG. It is a 'community adventure guide' for Moonshell, a game that does not exist... for now!
